Please do not buy any fur products from Canada! It has recently come to our attention that Canada is importing fur products from China which are made from the fur of cats and dogs. There is evidence that some of these animals may have actually been people's pets before being stolen for their fur! These poor creatures are tortured and killed in a most barbaric way, some of them being skinned while still alive! The horror of this situation is beyond my ability to express. Please do not support this evil industry! Boycott all fur products from Canada until they ban the import of cat and dog fur products.

The One Earth Foundation
The OEF is a non-profit, NO-KILL organization created out of the sheer necessity to help, to aid, and to build a sanctuary for all life. For 28 years our organization has been dedicated to helping stray, abandoned, and abused animals find safe homes and loving families.
Until recently, the One Earth Foundation has been a self sufficient organization. However, need has increased exponentially. We are overwhelmed daily with this need. Unfortunately, we also are no longer able to shoulder the burden by ourselves. We need all types of support; members, volunteers, benefactors, donations of time, money, or both. Death by Lethal Injection
Sad but true, over 12 million dogs and 30 million cats are deliberately destroyed each year. That's a low estimate and the numbers are growing every year. Out of all the Humane Societies and shelters scattered across the US, none of them, individually or combined, have been able to accommodate the large demand for animal refuge. Some only accept owner relinquished animals, no stray, lost or abandoned. Other organizations may be able to take them but not for long. On a national average, only 23% of their accepted animals are rescued from death row. In some states, where the demand is so extreme, the animals don't even make it to the facility itself, instead, they are being injected on the spot and their bodies dropped at the local dump on their return. The actual 'no-kill' shelters that exist are only large enough to accept a handful, leaving so many for an unfortunate death, with the many generations to come, to face the same odds and the same demise.
It doesn't have to be this way. The OEF is 100% spay and neuter and 100% adoption. Since 1986, we have, without prejudice, spayed/neutered, cared for and placed more than 28,000 animals, by ourselves. Join us to stop this madness, become a member today!
